BOAT CAR.

THIS IS NOT MINE. It is located in South Dakota. Asking $2,000. Body is from a 1958 Glastron boat. Frame is from a 1995 Nissan Altima. It's so damn ugly that it's kind of cool. I think, this gives a whole new meaning to our cars, when people call them "land yachts"

Maybe it's a rolling hot tub.

Why!!!!! What would you do with it, it’s not even street legal.
Why wouldn't it be street legal? Still legally titled as a Nissan, has all signal/warning lights, headlights, seatbelts, horn, and as long as it passes inspection- technically it's legal... Just like the couch that was seen driving down the interstate.

No seats, what about seat belts? Windshield may be a problem in some places, the. You would need wipers and what about a rear view mirror. I can go on but I think I made my point.

I just wish it were still a boat. Glastron and Glasscraft made some cool lookin' floats.

I think it's interesting what goes through people's minds. At least he didn't ruin a C-body for his project. A '95 Nissan isn't a great loss in my opinion.

I would of put that kind of effort in to a C-body restoration......without the boat part.

Fins look like 58 Olds or Buick.
There was a 58 Desoto Adventurer convertible at Carlisle about 10 years ago, black and gold, towing a matching finned boat like that with the Desoto trim and taillights in the fins. A real show stopper.

Depends on how it's titled and in what state. I didn't see anything in the ad about it being titled as a Nissan. If it was, it would need all that stuff. If it's titled as home made or a 58 Glastron, it would only need what was required in 1958 which was almost nothing except lights.
