I love the 60's wagons. Not bad for a 51 year old car. It looks to be complete....just needs a little work and some paint.

That needs alot of work with some paint. Great wagon!!!!

I was going to say...is that not one of Chris's cars?? The 62 Hdtp New Yorker wagon is one of my all time favorite mopar wagons! There was one on E-bay a few years ago...I nearly sold everything I had to try and buy it.

Here is a couple pics of the car....anyone seen it since?

I love those 60's New Yorker wagons too. This I posted earlier from a local show this past fall.

Gives the word "vanity plate" a new meaning. :)

Hopefully it's out getting a suspension installed.
Get that thing off the ground!!!

Actually that was one of the things I liked about it...it was being bagged. Had no drive train...disc brakes all the way around. I just love those tilted headlights...and the rest is just icing on the cake for me.

htp wagon!

they don't break down the prod #'s, but 3271 6 pass wagons made, most pillared

My Dad had a twin to this '62 Newport hardtop wagon, and also had a '60 Dodge and a '60 Plymouth wagon, both pillared with the full center post and window framed doors.

I would be inclined to say that from '60-'64 the Dodge and Plymouth full size wagons would be sedan/post wagons and the Chryslers would all be hard tops. If any one has seen one that wasn't a hardtop, I would be surprized... Canadian could be an exception, but...?

I also have serious doubts that New Yorker made a 2drht from '62 -'64, as all the late '50s and '60s Chryslers have always drawn my attention, and I have never seen one.

Much like the '69 Super Bee convertible that I saw on Ebay when Chrysler Corp never made one.... Nowhere in the add did the description say that it was a clone or that it was actually just a Coronet, but the VIN certainly did...

As far as Dodge wagons are concerned, they had hardtop wagons in the Polara line 1960/61 and with all the 880s till 1964. You're right about Plymouth and Chrysler I guess.
