As mentioned in another thread, was outa town on work the last few weeks. We were up in NYC.

Good god!! How the hell do they do it?? No way in hell could I live there. I'd be the crazy white boy on the news who went ballistic. The highlight of the trip was watching the older homeless women on our block lift her skirt, and take a piss on the street right in front of us. Not squat or anything...

Needless to say I'm more then thrilled to be back home.

Did take some pics, thought I would share. The one thing I wanted to do, which we did, was go see ground zero. The memorial. Still seems like yesterday it happened...

We stayed at the Pennsylvania hotel, right across the street from Madison square garden.

As someone who's been there frequently, there are many sights to be seen in the big Apple..Good AND not so good, hahaha (the lady taking a piss isn't the worst thing to been seen either).

It's an amazing place to visit but there's no way in hell I could live there either. Thanks for the great pics!

I love visiting NYC.....once or twice a year.

I flew in to JKF a hundred times during my 20 year Army career. It was always comforting to see the Statue of Liberty and all the skyscrapers after a deployment and know I was back in the "World".

One of my my Warfighter friends had a sister that worked in the VIP Lounge of the Pan AM Center (closed years ago) at JFK. The beautiful ladies always treated us like rock stars and wouldn't let us spend a dime. They treated us with genuine respect and honor years before it was cool to treat Soldiers with respect.

I worked for a company based in NYC, and had to go there twice a year. Always a great reminder of why home is much better. And a horrible place to do business. They were investigation g millions of $ to move to PA

Oh man, you could have picked up those buckets on the way home, LOL! I used to live 20 minutes from NYC, and it would take 2 hours to get there. Lived up there for 30 years and only ventured in a dozen times. Now we go once a year during Christmas. It's actually a much better, friendlier city then it was back in the day.

I haven't been there since I was a kid and have no desire to go now.

You gotta travel with New York State license plates though.... There are still people that don't understand that New York State is a big place and not everyone comes from NYC.

Went there for the first time last summer...I think i will stick to Amish Country.

My niece's company was one of the first to move back into the new trade center. When i visit she's always pushing me to walk faster. Walk faster and quit stopping to look at the sites, "You look like a tourist" uncle Dan! Hon, ya mean the Old English D on my hat isn't their first clue? A week in that town and i'm ready for my suburban tract home.
