I wish I had the wall space to do that. I hate tool boxes unless it's a $20,000.00 Snap-On LTD. Edition.

My dad did that, but also outlined every tool so that I would know he knew exactly what tool I borrowed that was missing. Only did that once.

That's nice, what a beautiful car! One of these days I'd like one of those...an old school hot rod that is.

I had to laugh I was at a farmer's shop years ago and he hung all his steel wrenches and like items on the wall and then proceeded to spray them all with alumium paint he had left over from spraying his grain bins on the farm, so when you removed the wrench the brown outline from the ped board remained.

I can only see a farmer doing something like this. Is there such a thing as lazy OCD?

My nephew (17 years old) drives me crazy when he's around and uses/borrows anything...........he nevers puts anything back.....and never clean!!! I gave up......I have a 5 gal bucket that I tell him to put all my tools in when he's done.........I'll clean them and put them away by myself.

The only way ANYONE respects someone else's tools is AFTER they are forced to buy there own..

He's learning......I'm more concerned about safety than anything else. At least I have him thinking. I have him thinking about the task before he does it and think about what could happen or go wrong. Baby steps......jack the car up.....Place jackstands under it......check to see if the jackstands and car is stable before climbing under it. People will laugh that I go too far with safety.......I don't laugh........I've seen people die making simple, stupid mistakes.
