i ordered up an OEM fuel pump from summit racing and it got here the other day... so i go to stab this thing on and the nips are facing 180 away from each other like some women i used to know . . .anyways WTH? I didnt even really look at the pic of the item as i figured i had the car selected and it said OEM fit . . .

You were expecting the fittings to be aligned like your existing pump and they are not?

correct. comparing the fitting position to whats on there now and what i have ever seen on a mopar. wondering if anyone could compare to what they have.
 
I bought one of the Spectra brand pumps SP1109MP (about a year ago) and mine was the same way. I figured they had a bad batch that was clocked wrong. I ordered a Carter M3672 and all is good.
