Those are great pics, do you know any of the officers?

I figured it out. The first radar gun. Emitted radioactive waves. Was discontinued when it was discovered that the troopers nuts shriveled up to the size of a pistachio. The good news is that it led to a new type of treatment for Prostate Cancer.

Awesome pictures. That's got to be the youngest trooper I've ever seen!

Vintage photo's are the best, thanks for posting these. Looking forward to seeing more from your collection.

Not sure of first photo. 2nd photo is of the 1977 Truckers Strike, 3rd Photo is of Outlaw Roy "Wee Boy" Spencer (must have been after his escape), 4th photo Trooper Mark Fagan, 5th photo is Trooper Ledbetter on the hunt for James Earl Ray after Ray scaled the wall at Brushy Mtn St pen, 6th photo is aftermath of high speed chase involving Trooper Charlie Gattis, 7th photo is Trooper Billy Ford of the newly formed Tact Squad showing off his new Pepper Fogger, 8th photo is Trooper Bobby Fyke, standing at 6'7" tall, 9th photo is Capt. Milton Douglas who was shot in the chest and fore head before returning fire and killing the perp. AKA Bulletproof. Last photo is a Trooper named Mickey, but I cant remember is last name right off hand. Will start putting more detail to photos.

I remember this being mentioned in recruit school...the radar gun emitted enough radiation that it caused cancer. The first radar had the air tubes that went across the road. A former co-worker has one of these and I believe it still works.
