Was getting ready to check my noisy wheel bearings on my daily driver since the dealer couldn't see the damn issue even when my was was there 2 times since November for a new transmission. And this is what i found right side came right off left side took an extra 20 seconds to break off, even the dealer didn't even notice the split in the grease seal on the right lower ball joint wtf. So glad i no longer have to replace my wheel bearings...

Quite common in the rust belt for backing plates and/or brake dust shields (whatever you prefer to call them) to rust out and rub against the rotor.
Making noises that sound worse than it actually is (Make a mountain out of a mole hill,LOL)
Heck even nice ones can get bent swapping brakes or wheels.
At my work we deal with this on a daily basis.
