Good gawd. YouTubes introduction of subtitles is absolutely wretched. The voice recognition technology they chose looks like a first gen version from the 70's.
I had to turn it off.

I fell in love with the new Formals when they came out. For a C-body lover, it was a wet dream.
I became very upset learning of the end of C-bodies altogether in '78. The R-models depressed me. Especially no BB.
In the Fall of' 78, a friend and fellow employee bought one of the last NYB's. It was a St. Regis. I was able to get an up close, touchy feely encounter with it.

I still say the head shed at Chrysler was planning Formal's to continue after 1978. They wouldn't of made all the changes in the 1978 model if they knew it was going to be the last year for Formal's.
