I've seen quite a few of these pace cars, let me see if this one that has been long running is still in my bookmarks.

Nope the one on the Richmond CL has been deleted, hope it sold but I have a feeling I'll see it again.
1965 Plymouth Sport Fury Indy Pace Car Convertible project - $4000 (Dinwiddie County)
It was real rough, had a picture of the badge on dash, don't know if that proves anything lol, don't recall seeing any fender tag or other doco.

OK I take the doco comment back on above post, say's he has invoice, window sticker etc.
To rough for the price, think it's gonna be a long road to get the 'Bubbletop' finished.

I have a 65 Sport Fury for 30 years. Parts are EXTREMELY hard to find! Go to e-Bay and check out the cost of just a tail light! Good luck and hope you have a DEEP wallet and a lot of time!
