Since my purchase last fall of my '70 Imperial, I have been scouring the web for info. I have been bookmarking my finds but one seems to have slipped between the cracks. That leads to this post and hopefully some good suggestions.

I read on some website that some Ford trucks in the late nineties came with 26" aluminum radiators with the inlets and outlets in the proper location for my C/Y body. I'm sure there are lots of other interchange parts out there such as disk brake spindles, bearings, bushings, weatherstripping etc.

Do any of you have a list of interchangeable parts or should I just get a composition notebook like I used back in the day and start over?

I use the online version of the Hollander Interchange for parts no longer available in my model and make. It's use takes a bit of a learning curve but it's always right on if the name of the part or part number is used. You will probably need a parts list CD for your particular vehicle or download one in PDF format that contains every single part number for every piece of your car and optional parts. The one I downloaded was for 65 C-bodies and listed every part for every 1965 model in that designation. Took a bit of searching to find it but when I did I printed only the pages that were specific to my model.

Thank you. We used Hollander's reference manuals back when they took up an entire counter and they were golden. Do you find them useful with modern parts? I mean can you find a modern equivalent to a 60's or 70's part with your manual?

How are you able to access the Hollander's online? Do you have a subscription? It won't tell me anything unless I pay.
