Anyone have a 67 c body with a 440 with performer rpm intake, holley carb, dual snorkel aircleaner. I need too know if it clears the hood. Right now i have factory intake with adapter plate a holley and dual snorkel and it barley clears. T I A

I put a Eddy Performer...# 2191 on my 440 this summer in my 68 T/C wagon. I run a TQ carb and a dual snorkel air cleaner. It clear the hood just fine.

thrashingcows what ac compressor are you running I need that same one, I see you are not using the factory rear bracket for it that spans the front of the intake.

Ahhh I see,,,,wondered what model intake you were wanting to run.

That is a Sanden AC compressor. I used the retrofit brackets from Bouchillon performance to mount it., and then all new lines and cross flow condensor as well. Everything under the hood AC was converted to modern components.

Here's the bracket kit I used....

Those are some decent prices! A lot better then I was thinking.

I'm running a Performer RPM on a low deck motor. It fits barely. One suggestion would be to run a Torker intake which would give you plenty of clearance but you wont make much power below 2500 rpm. You're probably best off using just the Performer intake or maybe the Weiand #8009. How much horsepower do you want to make and are you planning to change your stall and your gear ?
