Hello everyone my name is John from the Cleveland area of Ohio. This is my first posting of my new C Body. I'm a big B Body fan, I already have a 68 Coronet (under resto) 69 Charger and a 73 Charger. I really wasn't a huge fan of C Bodies, but when I had the opportunity to get this one I grabbed it up. I think its pretty cool, needs a few things to get running right. It's a 68 Chrysler 300 with numbers matching drivetrain. 74K on the ticker. This car is solid, has a couple small spots in the rear lower quarters that need attention. Maybe I'll give it some body and paint work in a few years. I have to find some parts in the meantime, I just want to roll it the way it is....:headbang:

Welcome! Looks like a good solid '68. Top looks pretty good considering the overall patina.

welcome aboard. you'll love the ride and the power of that 300. I've got a 66 Charger as well 70 Coronet project. I can't leave out my 65 Sport Fury 440-4spd.

Hey ! Is that a 'FastTop' ? Very nice color (I like blue). Welcome to the site.

Thank you to all for the warm welcome. I can tell how much nicer the 300 is to drive compared to my 69 Charger. I upgraded the 69 chassis and suspension, its a lot stiffer than stock. Its fun to drive around town and short trips, but I would rather cruise the 300, its comfy.

Dig it! I had a 68 Fury about 11 years ago, great car, lots of fun. Looking forward to seeing more of this as you progress.

Very cool car and congrats on the find! Welcome to the site. Looking forward to seeing it's progress.

Thanks! Whats a Fast Top? I'm not familiar to the C body stuff yet...

You do indeed have a fast top and welcome to the club! That refers to the long, sloping, halfway fastback-ish rear window. Great style. I have a '68 Fury with the same roofline:

Welcome and that's a sharp looking 300

Welcome to the site. '68 300 is on my wish list, my second favorite 300 year to my '66.
