It's right after WWII............that was the style and engineering back then. Most car manufacturers used some version of it all the way through the mid-fifties.

Actually this is on ebay rght now under Salvage Cars. I'd love to have this and REAL have fun with it. The first one would have me sleeping in it at night with a shotgun.

As far as this design cyle from Chrysler is concered my favorite model by far is the DeSoto from the abbreviated 1942 model year. Just love those hidden headlights.

It's all about proportions and how they integrate with each other. On this car, it's perfect!

Wow, didn't know Chrysler had concealed headlights back then. sweet.
