Hello all, I have a 68 Dodge Coronet 440 with a mild 318 and Cope Racing Transmission 904 in it. Driver condition car with some bubbling and surface rust on the rockers. Originally, SS1 yellow with a white vinyl top and and blue interior. I think the color now is like a B7 blue with the original vinyl top and the blue interior. Paint I'd say is about 30 years old and would need a repaint to be show quality or you can drive as is.

The 318 in the car is the original engine. It has a Weiand 8007 intake, M/T valve covers, Edelbrock 1406 carburetor w/ electronic, Mancini Racing Electronic Ignition Kit, Updated Voltage Regulator that is electronic and not mechanical like the 68 factory one, Firecore50 8.5mm plug wires Summit Racing Headers, Remflex Exhaust Gaskets, Summit (Crane) K6900 camshaft kit, and I'm getting ready to install a new 3 core aluminum radiator in it. Some new gaskets, belts, hoses.

The 904 that's in it was built by John Cope of Cope Racing Transmissions. Not the original transmission unfournately. This transmission has TF2 shift kit, low gearset that changes the 1st and 2nd gear ratios of the transmission for better take off and a PTC 1800-2200 stall converter.

Additionally, the car has a GTX 150 bar instrument cluster with a Real Time Engineering IVR and the amp gauge was converted to a voltmeter by Shannon and crew at Redline Gauge Works in SoCal. The speedometer was also rebuilt and the gauges recalibrated by Redline as well.

The interior is in pretty good shape. Seats recovered several years ago and new door front arm rest pads and arm rest bases. Pioneer CD player mounted underneath dash. Most of the interior is original.

New battery two years ago, Summit Racing Exhaust with Dynomax UltraFlo Mufflers and Stainless Tips, New Mickey Thompson Tires in last year with less than 500 miles 235/60/15 front and 245/60/15 rear, 15x7 front and 15x8.5 rear slot mag wheels with new McGuard lug nuts. Take note these wheels are not unilug and are hard to find in a 5x4.5 bolt pattern. ET center caps.

The car has a 8 3/4 (8.75) rear with a 741 case open 2.76 highway gears. Manual steering and drum brakes all around. No A/C either. The car has the 500/RT tail panel and tail lights. I have the original tail lights and trim if someone wanted them. Brand new parking lights. I have most maintenance records, original owner's manual and certicard. Car originally from Maine. Floors solid. Trunk floor has a couple of areas where water leaks in from the back window.

Runs and drives great. Needs cosmetics and would need front brakes (might do eventually) or convert to front disc. Rear main leaks slightly but, I do have a rebuilt 67 318 I could throw into the mix. Backup lights do not work but, I do have a NOS back-up switch I have not installed. Suspension rebuilt about ten years ago with bigger sway bars and a rear sway bar. KYB shocks, new bushings and ball joints. Bigger torsion bars and new shackles.

The reason why I am wanting to trade is because my wife has a hard time driving this car with the manual steering. She missing a finger due to cancer. My heart has never been really in this car even though I have tried but, I am looking for something with a big block and power steering. I am looking for a really nice 66-71 big block C-Body 2 door to trade with A/C and power steering. I don't want a project car. What I am looking for is a 67-70 Chrysler 300 Convertible, 69-71 Chrysler 300 2dr, 70-71 Monaco or Polara 2dr hardtop or convertible, 68-71 Plymouth Fury 2dr hardtop or convertible. 70-71 Sport Fury or Sport Fury GT. I figure my car is worth $7500-$8500 and I have most of the receipts for the work done to the car. The front brakes stop fine but, the pads are wore. Like I said I am debating a front disc conversion kit but, never had a problem with the brakes stopping the car.

Car is located near Indianapolis, IN and this is really a great car but, like I said I want a big block C-Body. My two main choices would be a 69-70 Chrysler 300 2dr hardtop or convertible or 70-71 Plymouth Fury Convertible or Sport Fury convertible. I'd rather trade than deal with tire kickers. Feel free to PM me and I would be glad to send more pictures and answer any other questions. Thank you forcbodiesonly.

Would also consider a trade plus cash for the right car as well. More pictures to follow.
