Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I have a 63 New Yorker with drums at all four corners and the Midland single diaphragm brake booster.

I am looking to upgrade to discs in the front, possibly discs in the rear and would like to move up to a dual diaphragm brake booster.

My understanding is that the 64 Imperial Bendix dual diaphragm booster is pretty much a direct fit.

I guess I have two questions, first, does anyone know if this 64 Imperial booster is a fairly direct swap on to a 63 New Yorker?

Second, is this Bendix booster just limited to a 64 Imperial, or were there any other years or cars that had this same booster as a direct swap?

Looking for as much information as possible to help guide me in locating a booster that I would need that is the best fit with the best performance.

The stock 64 New Yorker single diaphragm booster works very good with a 67 New Yorker disc brake master cylinder on my 64 New Yorker with 79 Cordoba disc/spindle/caliper conversion.
I also changed the rear wheel cylinder to smaller diameter cylinders and kept the rear drums. I'm not having a need for a proportioning valve. I used 72 New Yorker rear drums.
