Power seat

Anybody ever switch a manual bench seat to a power seat? Just wondering how involved (and expensive) this would be.

My father in NY has a full power bench seat out of a 63 newport 4dr. Only bad thing would be to ship the thing and it needs to be recovered.

Not a big deal. Use a power seat base from a similar car. The seat bolts to the base and you just have to remove the manual base and make the switch.

I just did a switch on my passenger bucket seat to power. The only difference was they used a couple of different mounting holes.

I have a nice power bench seat out of a '68 New Yorker here in Detroit that I'd be willing to part out if you just need the power tracks.

Thanks for the offers, I'm not sure if I'll do the swap yet. I have access to a NOS motor so I think I just need the brackets and switch?
