Would the power window parts from a 68 ny 4dr work for my 67 newport 2dr? At least enough of it to convert mine? I know the glass and tracks won't, but the main parts?

Wiring harness and the switches will work as will the motors but I don’t know if the front regulators are the same from 2 to 4 doors and the rear regs definitely won’t work.

The only parts you can use would be the wiring and switches. Regulators are all different. Glass and tracks are the same between power and manual. Power window cars also have rubber stop bumpers at the bottoms of the doors and quarters, where the manual windows usually don't. Your best bet would be the stuff from the '68 Monaco that's being parted. Worst part of installing power windows is drilling the big holes in the doors and A pillars. The metal is quite thick in both areas. The harness goes under the front seats, so you don't need to mess around under the dash too much, except where the harness runs through the kick panel area to the A pillars.

I am considering the monaco parts but I also found a somewhat close 68NY being parted. Just exploring options. I'm not afraid of the conversion...just buying the wrong parts. Thanks guys.
