I was watching the dedication of the George W. Bush Library and Museum today and realized that when I saw all 5 living Presidents standing together...it represented all of the American power since they built Stan's New Yorker in 1976 when Carter was elected. Too bad Reagan wasn't around to join them. FYI, Ford was president when I enlisted in the Army and Eisenhower was President when I was born. I just thought seeing all the living President's together was a powerful picture.

There is only one person on that stage that respect and they make him stand in the back!

I'll give him credit for that even though he had better choices to choose from. :icon_thumright:

Only one guy up there kept further mass suicide and destruction from Al-qaeda befall upon us after 9/11...for eight years. There are two gentleman standing there who did little to nothing to keep that event from happening, and one I would argue who made it all the more easier for the rabid fundamentalist cockroaches to come together and precipitate such an event like 9/11. Finally, there's one who with a wide smile that tries to take credit for nailing Osama and yet did nothing to bring the assests together, none of the leg work, to make that happen. That's what I see.

I'm reluctant to be critical of any of those guys. While they all have their faults they also have their accomplishments. It's an insanely difficult job that I certainly couldn't handle.
