In the land where people do not rely on credit like in the U.S. (tired of all the "Cash Call" mortgage ads on radio - 4 an hour on some stations - "need cash, just submit much the same paperwork you used in refinancing your home a couple years ago and get even lower payments and get cash out"...........that ruin the radio stations at least out here in California?), pricing on our cars just keeps climbing it seems. This less desireable 1973 Imperial than the recent Tahitian Walnut sun roof-equipped 1971 model we have seen advertised for $23K with no takers on Ebay at least, is even higher priced. Who knows who, if anyone, would potentially buy it at this price, even if it is black, but the potential buyers are not here in the U.S. And there are plenty of incorrect aspects of this car that are easy to pick out - rear window treatment, wheel covers and others.

Gorgeous car until they opened the door...

They should have dyed the interior black on this particular car. I don't mind the green interior just not on this black car.

Oh yah and it's way overpriced.

So we see that somebody can disassemble, paint and reassemble; I'm with detmatt - if you went that far to paint from green to black - dye the dang interior. Sheesh! And you're right commando1 - WTF??!!!

Even if they are not correct, I think they look good that Imperial.
The hubcaps on Imperials of this era are pretty bland for a car of that stature back in the day.

Could be wheel covers from an earlier Imperial I guess, around 1963

..they look good...like the car...interior needs some SEM landau black...thought rims were 71 but center caps are diffrent..unsure but like

I did a little "adjusting".
Maybe the photographer got a little too agressive in enhancing the photos.
One can hope...

The wheels on my 73 Imp. I intend to get rid of the yellow paint in the centers though.

I know the car pretty well.

I liked it and even considered buying it.
Back in 2011 from the same dealer.

At that point it was original unrestored. Here are a couple of pics.
You can see the same Imperial hubcaps

It came from Indiana originally and had some rust issues.
I thought it could have been a decent winter car. Had frame rust, too.

AFAIK they repaired all the rust but installed the selfmade V-top and choosed to paint it black. Interieur is still original
