No room for bags on that front end either. It should have been obvious....

The more I've been thinking about your project, I would have bought a totally worthless crapbox, sent the front subframe to Fatman Fabrications and end up saving yourself thousands and thousands of dollars.

I wish I had met you first and had you made me your project manager.
Other than the fact we'd probably be getting into ferocious arguments every day. LOL.

That's what I did. I bought a complete POS & I'm sending it to a chassis guy. Where's the savings.

The fact that there's not room for bags between the frame & the rotors seems real obvious now. Stupid

No, I meant to buy a worthless car and USE the sub-assembly to send out and THEN put in your good car. He probably gets all his business mostly from the ghetto.
Of course, the chassis guy was more than willing to take your money and say "yah, we can do that, no problem".
Now he's using YOUR car to experiment with and trying to figure out a way to make it work. HE didn't have a plan except to keep hacking away until he came close to what looked OK.
Sorry I'm being so rough on you Ross, I'm high C....

I figure that why you drove trucks most of your life, you didnt have to deal with people directly

Dave, I don't know if you were joking or not but you nailed right on the head!!!!!! That's EXACTLY why. There was one run (the Fairfield NJ run in fact) where I had no human interaction the entire time. Happiest period of my life until they shifted that run to out of the NJ warehouse. People suck.

Can't say I blame you with the "people suck" sentiment. When given the choise I'd rather go it alone too. I'm not a "people person", having a job where you don't hAve to interface with a single soul sounds like nirvana to me.

I deal with them everyday I hate them too but it seems that I am good at it.

Stan, I was serious..... I auppose the CB and the air horns was your vent

I never used the CB. Seriously. Couldn't stand the moronic jabberwocky on it. If I turned it on, it was during severe snowstorms.
Made no sense to use the air horn either. All you got was the rigid digit and they would slow down even more.
That's why I preferred nights. One long train of non-stop tractor trailers just trying to get from point A to point B. That's all. It was grueling but I enjoyed it.
