There are some people selling stuff that only want to deal with payment via USPS money orders.

Can this Canadian get an explanation as to how this is done if I'm making a quick trip to the US?

I understand that a MO can be bought at a post office or a kiosk. The hours at a post office are limited on weekends, but the kiosks are always open.

Because you can't buy a MO with credit card, I guess I would have to use cash. Do Kiosks take cash?

I guess the recipients's name / address must be given to buy the MO, but what about the sender? If a sender address is required, can I just make up a US sending address if it won't take a Canadian address?

Is the MO automatically sent, from the kiosk or by the USPS to the recipient, or does the kiosk spit out the physical MO and I have to provide an envelope with stamp and all that and drop it in a mail box to actually get the MO on it's way to the recpient?
