We own a 1965 Chrysler 300L. Where is the correct place on the air filter canister for the air cleaner sticker? Also where should the 1-1/2" cap/snorkle on the air filter be pointed?
Thanks for any info.

Mine is in the same place on my '66. It was in the same place from the factory. My 66 air cleaner has front stamped in it. With the word squarded up with the the front of the car, the snorkle is just to the left of the radiator hose. When standing in front of the car.

Welcome! Post pics of your car!

Welcome from Minnesota! I can't help you with your question, but my uncle lived in Beaver Dam and I've always loved that name for a town. Now please show us some pics of the car so we can drool.

Never really noticed before that the air cleaners are quite a bit different between '65 and '66.

I will pile on we like pictures here. If you are putting decals on, then you are restoring your car back to original condition, we like those details here. :)
