Quite the send off

A local farmer died on Friday, area farmers came in and finished harvesting his fields, for his family. This is the send off he received at his funeral.

This is why I love going up and living in a farming community.

That kind of helping the neighbor when trouble strikes is what made this country get through tough times in the past. We could sure use more of that! Tip of the hat to Darrell Taylor, farmer, Detroit Lakes, MN. That's my deceased father in-law.

That was my grandfather, and his generation, thanks for sharing. One of my all time favorite commercials. What really got it for me was I use to listen to Paul Harvey in the truck, with my grandfather.
