Car is a 1966 Polara with a 318 Poly. Hey guys, long time. Need some help and hoping the expertise here can guide me. Years ago I replaced my radiator with a shiny aluminum one but when it arrived I realized that it had the lower outlet on the right (wrong) side instead of the left. My mechanic at the time was able to find a lower rad hose that more or less worked. Well that hose just gave out and I decided to go back and address the original mistake by ordering a radiator with the correct specs. I made the decision on the spot, standing at the counter at NAPA. When I got home I realized that the part the guy ordered for me with the "guaranteed fit" is listed as having the outlet on the right (wrong) side, same as the one that's coming out. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/RNRNR332B

So, the question is does anyone have any good recommendations on a good radiator with the inlet and outlets both on the left side so I can use the standard hoses? I'm looking at some on Fleabay but leery.

MANY radiator companies have a section in the back of the catalog with radiator specs and images of each of the part numbers they sell. Look THERE and see what their listed part number really is. Go from there.

Just to be 100% sure we are on the same page, right=passenger side and left=driver side. Correct?

The reason I ask is the later (1970 up) small block water pump will bolt on to that poly and the outlets are on different sides. This is kind of opposite of your left/right description, but it does make sense if you are facing the front side of the radiator and referring to right/left from that direction.

Taking it one step farther, a water pump swap could be a solution.

So I’m dealing with something similar on my 69 300. From what I’ve learned so far is smaller radiator is non AC- out and inlets are left side (drivers side) while a/c car is opposite side
