Guys,
Have you seen a description and what does it mean when they say molded cut to fit. In my mind it contradicts itself. If it is molded for the application why do I have to cut to fit?

This is the lower hose for a 68 Chrysler NYer. I was looking at them on Rock Auto because my local guys want to sell me a flex hose... ugh.
Thanks

One or both of the ends may be longer than needed.
It is molded to fit different cars but may be needed to be cut to fit properly.

If you're worried about the uninformative generic general universal description, buy the ACDELCO one then.
I don't know what that means either except I wouldn't worry about it.
Btw, your local guy who tried to sell you a flex hose is a F%#$@&g idiot.
He could and should have also offered you a correct molded hose from the warehouse available for pickup the next day.
No need to go to RA for one stinking item and pay hostage shipping costs.

I get the lower hose for a BB 1978 NYB from NAPA...they are the only place that I have found them for Formal's. Check with them...they seem to have a lot of C-Body stuff that the other auto places can't get any more.
