Oh yea. I parted a 53 & 54. It came from one of them. Doesn’t mean it was original as someone could have swapped it in.

No honeycomb core... I'm not sure when that change happened, my 49 had it... could be correct for 53/54 though.

The 53 DeSoto was the oldest car I’ve parted. It was 18-20 years ago. Still have a box of parts somewhere. I’ll find it as I continue to unearth treasures
