Hey everyone, I want to raise the rear end of my 67 Sport Fury Plymouth, I am open to ideas.
Thanks, I will do some figuringNew leaf springs made to order. How high... How hard..
ThanksGoogle Springs and things and tell them you heard about them here.
Thanks, I appreciate the pic that helpsView attachment 82964 Here is a good reference on stance. This is an inch over factory. I bought my springs from Springs and Things too. They fit perfectly, and the easiest thing I replaced/restored on the entire car.
ThanksThese are with the factory springs and a set of Monroe overload shocks. It just adds a tiny little bit of bustle in the butt...
When you buy springs, you can order them with an extra leaf (one extra leaf = factory "heavy-duty" springs) and with stock height thus not raising the car noticeably. For reference, here's what happens with an extra main leaf added to the factory springs. I now run shorter tires in the rear to compensate for this and lower the rear from this pic.
