Anybody had any experience with these guys?
Video is of 1960 Chrysler dash pad.

I have 4 of their dash pads. They are perfect! There is no better reproduction dashpad anywhere. They are that good, and I don't easily use superlatives when describing a company unless they are really good. Their reproductions are usually in the range of $600.

To the best of my knowledge, they do not recover an old dash, they just reproduce brand new ones. Recovered dashpads just don't cut it for me, e.g Just Dashes.

Thanks! Been looking for a source for my '59 CDV guess these guys are it.

Just as an FYI
I have just received a reply to my inquiry for a new dash pad for my 1959 Cadillac 2 door here is the reply. I have not discussed shipping and I do not know where the cover would be made. They have provided lots of photos and they look great. However the conversion works out to be around $1300 for the base cost. This is in addition to the shipping and insurance cost both ways. I should say that my dash is very intricate and the cost includes the door extension pieces. Photos included below.

They cost 10200 Swedish crowns with side pieces in black, if you want another color of your choice it costs 2000 Swedish crowns, we want the sheet metal frame cleaned from upholstery and vinyl so the plate is clean, if you want the frame cleaned of us it cost 1000 Swedish crowns.

We use the original steele core when we make a new one, everything else is new, we need to have your core to us.

Best regards
Tony

Let me get this straight,do you need to send them your core or do they make them outright?

I have replacement dashpads from RD Autoline for my 1960 Chrysler 300F (wherein the foam over the years has just evaporated - not unusual) despite the low miles (29K), one for my 1961 Chrysler New Yorker, one for my 1960 Imperial Crown, and one for my 1958 Dodge Regal Lancer. None of these pads required a core - they are made outright and sent to you with only the initial $600 cost in my case about a year ago when I made the purchase of all four based on observing some completed ones beforehand, plus the shipping cost, which was lower than I expected, but I can't recall just how low. It was very reasonable though.

RD Autoline does mostly vintage cars prior to about 1965, but they might be expanding in the future as well. For most of our cars, C bodies, the best source I have found is Bob Baker of ABC Moparts.

My understanding is that for older cars that had a metal substructure, foam, upholstery then you send them the sub frame. However, I am sure that as pointed out, when you have economy's of scale and make multiples and there is no need for you to provide any substructure the price is lower. In my case, anything that says '59 Cadillac on it you move the decimal to the right one place, or add a zero, your choice.

I emailed them, prior to posting, received response saying they had nothing for 71 Fury.

I know it sounds strange for a company in Sweden to be doing this, but it appears there is a LARGE number of USA cars in Europe, many of which have padded dashes on them. PLUS many have been converted to Right Hand Drive, which means a new instrument panel is needed, plus a new dash pad to match.
