do yall know if you can take out the rear frame and trunk and wheel houses out of a 68 fury 4 door sedan and install them in 68 fury fastopl thanks for any replys mark

That wasn't the question.
Will those parts work if they were to cut them out?
Even on a full frame car the wheelhouse is part of the body.

Im pretty sure the rear frames and parts you describe are the same between the coupe and the four door. But unstitching every weld in each car then realigning it all in the new car before rewelding it all back in place is going to be a very big job.

The pan/lap joint under rear seat area is were the wheelbase differences are made up, yes it can be done anything can be done.

commando im trying to figure out if I can take the whole rear frame and trunk pan out at the same time I can leave the wheel wells injust be more spot welds to cut out never seen anyone on here replace rear frame I know they do it on b bodies because my frame rails are rotted and the trunk pan thanks for all the input fellows

I see no reason why it couldn't be done, yes a lot of work.
If you can do it with a B-body you could do it with a C-body.

Wow. That is a major undertaking.
Actually, I'll join Alan and say go for it.
Make it it's own thread here. This forum likes to pull for the guys making their project it's own thread.

Yeah I say go for it also and make a thread, lots of bracing. Alan not sure on c bodies but others have one inch difference in wheelbase two to four doors

On the A-Body all Plymouths were 108" and all Dodges were 111"
My 67 Barracuda is 108" as were both the 2-door 67 Valiant Sedan and the 67 4-Door Sedan

The Duster/Dart Sport body was the same for both.
The 2-dr hardtop Scamp was on the Dodge platform, 111"

and the Valiant in 74 moved to the Dart body so it was 111"

I have alway assumed the other bodies were the same across platforms, only being different between the makes.

I thought 2 and 4 door were the same WB, as well, with only the wagons being different. They were shorter, puzzlingly.
