I had my A/C hoses rebuilt by Benz Hydraulics in Delaware. DSC02059.jpgDSC02060.jpgDSC02061.jpgDSC02062.jpg

I'm totally satisfied. I do have a couple of questions about mounting the hoses.

I know that the hoses ends that have compression nuts require an o-ring. The ends that bolts to both sides of the compressor and the H-Block have o-rings AND a metal gasket...correct? And the other question...does it matter which side of the metal gasket goes toward the compressor and the H-Block.

The exploded view diagram of the RV2 compressor in my FSM shows a gasket on the EPR valve side only...O ring seal on the other side.

Thanks! I'll have look closer at my FSM.

Come on, soldier boy. You mean you never learned RTFM?? LMAO!!

Both sides of the compressor had metal gaskets and o-rings when I took the hoses off. I heard something metallic falling when I unbolted the hose from the H-Block but couldn't find it. My question was it there a certain direction the metal gasket face because it appears to have a crush surface.

These are the old ones that came off both side of the compressor...

I haven't figured out what the plastic sleeves are for. It must go between the H-Block and the evaporator.
