Time to order gaskets, weatherstripping, whiskers, windlace, etc. Any feelings about Restoration Specialties vs Steele Rubber? Is there anyone that has better products... or cheaper (but still quality)?

I was very pleased with Restoration Specialties..what I like best about them is that they stock parts for ALL kinds of cars, not just muscle cars. They had excellent belt weather stripping for Formals, both coupe and 4 dr.

I've seen the belt weatherstripping for the formals. I just might call them and see what progress that they have made on the formal 4 door HT roofrail seals. LOL!!!

I just bought weather stripping from Andy Bernbaum's web site. If you want exact factory duplicates, he has most of them.

Resto Specialties I like a lot. You can talk one on one with them. Steele has clueless order takers and if you call them and they have a "I can't find it on the 'puter. Next?"

You're the only one I have ever seen that steps in Formal manure and comes out smelling like roses every time. They'll fall out of the sky and hit you on the head when you least expect it...

I'll take Seal Team 6 and some of my Delta Force buddies and secure the site! Got to be a couple of formal roofrail seals in there.

You can damn me if you want for finding the last known sets for the Formal 2 drs.....
Roof rail AND lower door seals.

I'll find a set sooner or later.......

I think Psychojimmy burned the last set, for a 4dr. hardtop after some people on The dry dock pi$$ed him off.

Double damn him! I could really of put those to good use!

I got about everything Steele made about 6 years ago for a '67 Chrysler 2drht and was quite pleased.

I was especially impressed with the quality of the winshield seal.

My worst experience was with seals from the Paddock a couple years earlier with some GM seals for a customers Firebird.

He could make Baby Jesus cry.
He destroys more cars than a thousand Dukes of Hazzards movies with a couple of Gone in 60 Seconds thrown in....
He's the China of readytorun derby cars
