I don't know if tis this guy can be labeled "flipper".
The car went from a shitbox to a Doc Drooler.
Could be a pretty expensive rehab.

That flipper label is usually negative with a vehicle for some reason???... But, in the context of a house-flipper it is usually deemed as positive and removing an eye sore on a block for the good of a neighborhood.

I don't think they did all that much to it. I see a good detailing job, new top, carpet, front seat at least partially redone, and the rear interior panels are back on. Most likely, they went over the mechanicals. The last pic in the old thread shows that the paint was actually quite good under all that dust. It looks to me like it still has the same tires on it as before.

Regardless, It'll be a long wait before someone ponies up 15 grand for a '72 Fury III coupe.

Thanks Jeff...I wish it was closer to check out in person. Definitely eye candy to me.

I have been watching for this '73 to surface below....it was around a couple years ago and I can't stop thinking about it. I love the hell out of that model with that color.

I was hot to buy the '72 back when it was $900. It was actually for sale for about a month, but the huge "CASH ONLY!" in the Craigslist add took me out of the game as a long distance purchaser. Plus the fact that they were the same ones that screwed over Dave on the '71 Monaco wagon that the were selling, and I didn't really trust them after that.

I didn't know about that storyline (with Dave)...good to know...that's not cool.

I haven't seen that '73 around either. Looks like it needs some help on the C-pillars, but the quarters are nice and solid.
