I am looking for an alternative to the red metallic paint for the dash area and steering column. I found out that it possibly is "aztec maroon poly 50755"

But I cant find a rattle can with that.... I want to paint the black Grant steering wheel adaptor to match the column. Currently tried burgundy but it looks sort of horrible...:soapbox:

Anyone has a cross reference to that color or anything? Duplicolor dosent seem to have it...

You will never find that in anybody's rattle can.
Your auto body supply shop will have to do it for you from formula.

I went through this with my Chrysler.

The big issue is no one is going to be able to mix the lacquer paint from the old formula. I tried... It killed a C note for a pint of stuff that wasn't close.

If you can... take an ashtray or something similar to a well stocked auto paint store. They can analyze the color and come up with something very close in a single stage paint. From there they can either load a rattle can or better yet, go buy a cheap touch up spray gun from Harbor Fright and spray it the right way.

Hm.. okay. Thank you! I might look for something that comes close to it for now.... I sure dont like the bright Burgundy, looks very Tacky :(
