British born Pop/soft rocker had a #1 hit in 1975 “Roxy Roller” as lead vocalist with the Canadian band Sweeney Todd (Brian Adams was priefly in the band as well). He left the band in 77 & took the guitarist with him & ventured out on a solo career & in 1978 had the chart topping hit “ Hot child in the city”. He’s penned hits for several other artist such as Pat Benetar & Patty Smyth. He has returned to Sweeney Todd & they are still active today
