I remember that when I was a kid.

They are preserving the original building on 3rd St ( now MLK Blvd). which is 3 minutes from my parents house. 3rd St use to be the rich shopping area after WWII until it turned into the ghetto in the 1970's.

I remember when Northridge opened. It was a big deal. Eventually it turned into a ghetto mall and closed. I think the Chinese own it now but it will never open again and I surmise eventually will be torn down.

The grand daddy of parades in Milwaukee was the Schlitz Circus Parade. I went numerous times as a kid with my family.
