Removing '64-'66 Imperial switch plate covers - how do I do this???

Borrowed the pic from Mick's post - How does one remove the aluminum covers off the switch panels on both sides of the steering column? I want to replace the clear plastic portions of the assembly, plus re-clock the ignition switch orientation correctly - it's 90 degrees off, per a previous owner.

Remove the knobs and the one screw adjacent to the column and I think that’s all there is to it.
