Hey all, seriously considering taking on a pretty big project - 70 Newport convertible blue/blue with serious rot underneath. Stub frame is good, rear rails could be patched, but needs floorpans/rocker work or replacement, and the trunk dropoffs and most of the trunk pan are toast as well as the back third of the wheelhouses.
It looks like there are partial floor pieces available, and the trunk pan, but how about any of the rest of it? Or are we looking at parts from a donor?
It's not a high option car - 383 2v, power steering power top, blue one blue car. Body sheetmetal doesn't look bad, the interior is nice, and the car is pretty cheap. I have the equipment to do the work, just curious how much I'm going to have to pull from a parts car - I have NO room to store a parts car, so that's a challenge for me.
