no, had three A-bodys in my life, none of them for longer than 3 months (winter time). If I want to drive a compact car I could drive european crap.

C-bodys are great dailys. Lots of space and comfort. If you choose a 440 powered car till 1971 you have plenty of power to move, too.

A bodies are the most uncomfortable Mopars of the era. The front ends always seem to have a problem, as in a little weak

Remember the car of our recently deceased relative from the Chicago area, a priest that owned a 70 Dart Swinger till the early 80s, green of course and full of rust bubbles all over. He then switched to a beige Chevrolet Citation, thing that one wasn't a lot better.

In my opinion, from the late 70's and on are pretty much the automotive dark ages.... from the poor quality and designs of the 70's-80s, to the bland, generic, soulless cookie cutter crap of today.... It's pretty sad for a car person. I was too young to be able to own a car in the 60's, but I am glad I got to appreciate the cars as I was growing up. I can remember when the cars changed every fall. Me and my brother waiting with excitement for the new cars to come out so we could go to the dealerships and dream. Now, going to the dealerships is a major disappointment, and car shopping (Except for when one of us is looking for an old car) is a chore, not fun. :soapbox:

340/727 or better yet a 4spd and ,I'm sorry nick, almost any other color.

Budget? What's that? Oh that's right, that's that thing that gets mentioned at the beginning of a project...
