I bought these "wheel fillers" for my road wheels from Azblackhemi.

SOLD - Road Wheel Filler Disc

Got them the other day and with the warm weather, it was time to get them on the wheels. My wheels are 7" wide '79 Diplomat wheels. Thanks to Mr. C for that info.

Bare wheel. I was gonna paint it with argent, but as it turns out, I was missing the filler.

Test fit.

There was a fabric on the back, probably to keep them from rattling.

I painted the fillers argent.

The fabric on the back was in bad shape, so I came up with an alternate. I used a bit of RTV. I wanted the filler to be easily removed if need be.

I repainted the black in the center while I had it off. Finished wheel.

They turned out great. I gotta find one more now!

They look to be correct. I have M body road wheels on my T&C. I took the fillers off as I prefer the all chrome look.

Beautiful. . Are those trim rings correct for the wheels
I don't think so.

The previous owner got them from some vendor at Carlisle. I think I remember seeing the vendor. He had piles and piles of new trim rings. They fit correctly and look good to me, so I'm fine with them.

I debated on leaving them chrome... The fronts have been painted, but the backs were bare. The argent won out.

I even thought about doing them body color.... I decided the argent on the grille and around the tail lights matched nicely.

3 sets in a box somewhere.
Doing nothing...

I couldn't find another filler in my price range. Come to find out, they are called "appliques". There were some NOS available, but I'm being cheap... especially since the first thing I would do is repaint them.

I contacted the Ebay "velocity stack" seller.. and was very surprised that all I had to do was send him a couple pics on a wheel and he let them go for $15! I just have to paint them and get them on the wheels.
