Is there anyone here even remotely near Champlain NY....? It's in the NW corner of the state. I'm interested in a 1968 Concord RV there. 1200 miles is a long way to go take a peek. Could be some gas and a lunch in it.

Dear Friend Will. I have Car-Budz in Erie, Pa., Buffalo, and Rochester, New York so I'm thinkin' Hey, I can hook my pal up with somebody I know in NORTH WEST NEW YORK STATE. So I do ah mapquest on Champlain, N.Y. 'Cuz I some how have missed that one in my travelz and I find that it'z so far to the right it'z ah coin flip if it'z in Vermont or in Quebec where they talk funny and print the street namez funny too. Thank Gawd some of the roadz are numbered up there or I'd probably be talkin' funny by now also. Only Indianz and Blask Flyz can survive that far up in NORTH EAST NEW YORK. Sorry my friend. Lookz like itz ah Rand McNally or ah GPS and pack the cooler with several bucketz of the KFC wingz

Yea, northeast NY. 5 hours away from me and I never get up that way.

That's just north of the Adirondack Park which is a great place to go camping in.. and you are right by Lake Placid, Lake Champlain and Vermont too. If you have never been up in that area, you owe it to yourself to take a week or so.

There you go Will. You can view the Rv, and take a vacation at the same time.

Yeah, It's not on the way to anywhere. I figured it was a pretty place to visit by looking at the area on a map. Probably a 6-7 day ordeal from here. That's not enough to stop us though. If the deal shakes out it should be a heck of an adventure.
Anyone interested in a nice pop up camper......?

It's a great place to vacation....

Hustle up there, pick up the camper...

Stop in Lake Placid first and then pick some areas to stop in the Adirondacks. Hit the Adirondack museum while you are there. Get on the NYS Thruway and head on to Niagara Falls for a day or two and then west and south through PA and Ohio.

Theres a couple of nice fellas that just checked out of the crowbar hotel over that way. They might like to test it out for ya.

If you head back that way you could stop in and visit Murray Park.

I have a lot of respect for Murray, and am glad he is preserving the C body heritage. But I have never been able to buy from him dispite several parts requests. He seems to treat every sale as his last one.
Example....... I recently needed four small, stamped stainless trim caps for the ends of the headliner bows in my 69 suburban. No tools required to remove. His quote was $15.00 each plus shipping for used ones. I purchased four NOS in original packaging from another known seller for $2.50 ea plus $6.00 postage. Lets see, $60.00 plus postage for used ones, or, $10.00 plus postage for NOS... DUH....!
Same for a 2 sp wiper park transmission and boot...... WAY to high.

I don't even concider him anymore.

They probably are in Canada by now. They were very resourceful guys and I don't think they're going to get caught easily.
