Did our beautiful Slab Sides have anything to keep the rear seat belts from sliding down into the crack between the rear seat back and seat bottom when new? Or was it just such a tight fit that they wouldn't slip down and get lost in "Narnia?" Perhaps my rear seat bottom has too big a gap . . .

No retainers on Chryslers, BUT Dodge put them on the 1968 Coronet rear seats. Probably could be adapted to anything. Only for the buckle ends, 2 on the left and 1 on the right. A bit of careful drilling might do it.

Otherwise, I just extended ours and let the buckles dangle over the front edge. The end positions had retractors on them.
