So after an fairly exhaustive process, I am finally happy with the results enough to post here (preparing myself for the critics) Based on the interior of a 1970 Plymouth Satellite (with a split bench) I tried to recreate the look on the Newport. New foam, new springs and a leather touch vinyl, has given me the following....

And heres the inspirational picture that started me

OK all you green haters....lets hear it

Outstanding job, you have nobody to please here but yourself.... I bet they look even better after a couple bake cycles in the sun to give that final fit.

green inside is ok. outside, not so much :) great job. i like the look.

You are definitely talented. Not many car people can do this kind of work - really nice!

I don't care what color they are they look Really nice!

You're in Yellowknife, who's going to see them ? :poke:
The seats look great !

They look great! Green is my favorite color, so no complaints here.

Very, very well done! I like the way the bead tuck up under the lighter green insert..
First class job!

Nice work. Any leads on upholstery kits for slab year front and rear bench seats?
