My guess that with the car being from up here in Ontario the whole thing has been blasted with rust proofing. A PIA to clean up but effective against rust.

It's a two edged sword but I would not trade it for the alternative.

hmmm...missed the ontairio part...should be a rust bucket then but belive this one may of been taken care of somewhat..then again could be a bondo shell...needs more pics....for me undercarriage is always a good indicator how car has been treated and is generaly the first thing l check out when buying a vehicle
