pics tomorrow......and btw, anyone know what i can use to pop the trunk from the inside after taking the back seat out? it's too small to crawl through and I close the keys in the trunk after getting distracted with a cell phone call...........naturally, it was BS and the call wasn't necessary.

trust me, that's already on the agenda, it's getting him to crawl in there in the dark ,assuming he will fit.

Hmmmm I don't know if you access to the following but this is what I did on my car when I first got it and the keys ended up in the trunk

Used a bit socket (slot screw driver 3/8 bit socket) and 2, 3/8 drive 3 foot "Transmission" extensions.

Nick

Looking forward to the pictures it's a beautiful car.

I've put a few long ratchet extensions together and reached through the opening and taken the latch off.

In other words, a six foot screwdriver. Sheesh, Mark....

It doesn't help you now.......but I keep an extra set in my wallet specifically for these situations.

The screwdriver won't work with the working cylinder in it, you'll have to take the latch off as suggested or grab the keys with a hook or magnet.

they only had 1 set!!!!!!!!

I think i may be able to use a coat hangar and lasso them if I can see them with the light. I do not have a 6 foot screwdriver.

great idea 300..........as lnog as it's not right in the far back I should be able to get it with my magnet........extends out to abt 28". I'm going to be really pissed if I have to drive up to sears to buy a few long extensions, in that case the car will sit until next weekend. Perhaps my neighbor will have something, he is a car guy.
