In the middle of replacing the fluorescent lights in the shop with LED drops. 30,000 lumens, 200 watts per drop.
Not really saving any power, but brighter and I will never have to rent a scissor lift to replace them.

I need to do the same thing. Hate the flourescents anymore. Good move and thanks for the impetus!

For those interested, the shop came with (when I bought the place) 16 functioning 6-T5 fixtures (32 watts, producing 3000 lumens each - 288,000 lumens and 3072 watts in all).
I replaced them with 16 - hanging 200w LED assemblies that produce 30000 lumens each - 480,000 total. Total power consumption is 3200 watts, a 4.1% increase.
The real benefit is that I will never see the day when I have to replace any of them.
That’s a 66% increase in brightness. Me like 8^)
