side marker bulb in bumper on 1970 dodge polara

Can anybody out there tell me how I get to the socket and bulb on this car? I thought it would be easy. Do I just take the lense out? It seemed like it was in there pretty good so I didnt want to force it. Also where can I get a new minature socket and bulb to fit this? The one I have\had rusted out and is no good. Thank you for your help.

Is the lens like mine (it is screwed into the fender with tiny screws)? If so; remove the screws and the lens might pop out. You might need to find a way to jiggle it a bit if its been in there for 45 years or so straight. There is an assembly behind the fender that contains the light bulb and wiring. The lens itself just pops out.

thanks for replying. Was able to figure it out. I have a whole new used housing coming to me since the bulb socket was rusted away.
