1968 Chrysler new yorker Sedan 4D​

American luxury at its finest! 1968 Chrysler New Yorker in French vanilla color. Power windows, power locks, power antenna. Radio was rebuilt to be solid state and has an input for xm radio.xm controller in glove box. Originally from muleshoe Texas. Transmission has been rebuilt controlled with B and M shifter. Features a1978 truck engine ( 440 cu inch) with hardened valve seats so you can run unleaded gas! Side exhaust sounds and looks great! 4 barrel Carter carb with msd ignition and distributor. New radiator, a/c has been converted to r134 hoses included but not hooked up. Body is straight with a few dings here and there. Has fender skirts. Upholstery has been redone. Hub caps are from a 1958 custom royal lancer. Selling for a friend that does not use Facebook.

The side pipes probably sounded like a good idea that just ended up sounding good. Some clean lake pipes would probably actually look pretty good.
 
I have no problem with modified cars. In this case, if it was mine, I would lose those side pipes and go back to the factory shifter. That's a classy car in my opinion and those parts take away from it. "Different strokes for different folks".
 
There was a 68 300, red one, blower and chrome header side pipes I saw at carlisle a few years back. It looked good.
