Old Man with a Hat
But not the Imperial. The '66 Coronet 500 I've owned for 44-1/2 years is going to my niece in Colorado around the end of June. Her late Dad (my brother-in-law) owned the car for about two years before me, back in 1979. She was 12 when my b-ii-l sold me the car. She's a bit of a car nut, so it's going to someone who will appreciate it and care for it.
Why did I sell it? Because! First, I know where it's going, and I didn't have to deal with auctions or the general public. I figure nearly 45 years of ownership was a good run.
Now, it's just the Imperial and me. Oh, and the '69 D300. My immediate family really has no desire of the old cars. Not sure why. That's OK, though..
