Guys, Stan asked that I inform the crew over here. I sold the Fury, I was all set to take the Fury to the Nats with the idea of getting it judged in the show, Having the car up there gave the distinct possibility of selling it since it was advertised for quite awhile.

A great Mopar Guy and collector stepped up and bought it to not chance it being sold up there. I do not want to disclose the price because that infringes on the buyers privacy, I will say that I was pleased with the amount agreed upon, It was a equitable deal for both parties.

I will miss it on occasion but hanks to you guys over here for all the kind words and encouragement for the past few months.

I will lurk over here from time to time but now that I am without a c-body I will only be able to spectate.

Thanks Henry

Congrats, Henry.
I would like to see you get another C- body.
Your contribution to the C-body world was significant.

Henry,.. congrats on the sale, but hate to see it go. You did a great job on the Fury and it has inspired me with mine, but to be honest, it made me jealous..LOL. Car was very well thought out and put together. Please don't be a stranger. What's your plan, A Body, B or E body or another C..? BTW, the picture above is badass.!!

Well, I will drive my Bug to the cruise-ins until I finish what I had started a few years back, a 1967 Coronet sedan. The drivetrain is done ( Fury's tunnel rammed engine and trans) Dana 60 ladder bar & coil overs, it is a fully functional race/ street car, I just need to get the body done and add a few racing safety items to pass tech inspection, get some paint on it and an exhaust system then it will be complete. Man,.that is awesome looking. Love that year! Please keep us posted on the build....please!! Oh and your Bug is sweet.

Henry, all you have to do to make that street legal is add the lights.
Hell, I'd do it before I stated finishing it more.

Good luck on your new project! How about some pics of that VW Bug? Some of us here are gearheads no matter what type of vehicle. It's always nice to see variety in a collection! I'm sure driving that Bug gives you lots of smiles too! :cheers2:

I was gonna ask the same thing about the Bug. What do you have done to it and so forth? Really cool looking. We ain't going to let you go that easy!

Yeah the bug is a lot of fun and a really different crowd enjoys it, I originally built it for my teenage daughter to learn how to drive stick, I taught her how to shift and drive it but it didn't take, and then bought her an automatic sedan Dodge avenger, go figure.

I don't want to stray so far off the mopar path so I attached a link to its build, you guys that want a inexpensive way to "HOT ROD" a Vintage beetle is the ticket. I rebuild or replaced every mechanical item on this car, I would trust it to drive cross country. I have less than $6000 including paint into this car (NOT LABOR, tons of hours) but I don't count my own labor.

Loved the build up on your bug.I see it has the curved windshield.Did it start out as a Super Beetle? Looks like you deleted the McPherson Struts and installed that extended front beam. The final product came out nice. The only thing missing from these things to be used as a daily driver would be installing AC on these cars but I think it would put too much of a drag on the engine.I guess the other option would be to go with an engine swap or possibly a type IV motor.

Looks like two 65 Sport Furys have left Palm Beach County. I traded mine from a clown off craigslist last week for a 96 F350 Dually. PowerStroke with a manual 5 speed. Kickass truck. I have an 11 DurtyMaxx so this is just a fix and flip. The AC is way colder in that Ford.
