While the cars were nice, the favourite for me was this '64 A100/'67 L600 combo pack. The 100 is a /6 3-speed and the 600 is a 361. He went to this from a 300H (not Hurst) because he wanted something no one else has.

Agreed, the truck combo is killer! That black Poncho has me drooling also!

I never cared for the look of The 8 lug Pontiac wheels.
They look acceptable if you black out the parts between the fins, I'd prefer the Hurst wheel for Looks but they're said to be so overengeneered, they're pretty overweight.

Yeah, the 62 Pontiac and the 61 Oldsmobile are two of my favorite GM cars - while big, they weren't so big as some needlessly big earlier and later GM full size cars. Being a little smaller and much sportier looking than typical of most GM cars makes them special to me. And some great power trains.

Personally I think the 63 models are hard to beat when it Comes to Full Size Pontiacs of the 60s, especially the GP.
The 62 dog leg window Frames I always regarded as an obsolete 50s design element that does not fit the Overall cleaned up design.

No wonder you and my dad get along so well...... He had a 61 Ventura.... A 55 and a 56 Pontiac....
Thank the heavens he crossed the line, I don't like the sound of Pontiac Dave.
